Padlet an Online Notice Board

Padlet is an interactive online bulletin board that allows for collaborative learning; students can post different types of content and then see what their classmates are doing in real-time. Padlet is very useful for remote teaching, when teaching remotely, it’s going to be even more important to create opportunities for students to feel like they are still part of a community even if that’s only existing in a digital space. Padlet lets students share their thoughts and ideas easily and at the same time be creative. Furthermore, it is one of the main tools that can be used to help facilitate students sharing their ideas and their work rather than just with their teacher. It should be mentioned Padlet is a very easy program to use, it’s incredibly dynamic. Students can not only share typed answers, but they can also upload almost any type of file, whether video, audio, or image. They can even post screencasts and drawings to Padlet, and teachers can fully customize the settings to best fit your class’s needs.

Padlet provides teachers and students with authentic ways to learn languages. It allows teachers to have all those materials required for students stored in one place, they can also share video or audio to ask students to answer questions by listening to or watching them, and then interact with each other by typing or recording their voice. Also, they check learner schemata before teaching new content. Teachers must consider what and how learners already have learned about it. In other words, they use Padlet for a warm-up activity to activate the schemata before introducing a new lesson. And many other uses that depend on the creativity of the teacher.
